The Promise of the Spirit

In John 14, Jesus pulls back the veil to reveal what is to come. The promise and new covenant given by Christ Jesus is the indwelling of the Holy Spirit—the Spirit of Truth—who will live with us, guiding us toward the fulfillment of Jesus' mission and ministry.

This Sunday, we begin building a bridge between the Spirit of God in the Old Testament and the Spirit of God in the New Testament by exploring the relationship of the Holy Spirit to Christ Jesus. In Week 2 of this study, we turn to John 1, where we see that Jesus will baptize with the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit & Christ Jesus - Pt. 1

This Sunday, we begin building a bridge between the Spirit of God in the Old Testament and the Spirit of God in the New Testament by exploring the relationship of the Holy Spirit to Christ Jesus. In Week 1 of this study, we turn to Isaiah 11, where we see that Jesus is the full and perfect embodiment of the Spirit of God and discover what we can expect as a result.
