The Holy Spirit & Christ Jesus - Pt. 1

This Sunday, we begin building a bridge between the Spirit of God in the Old Testament and the Spirit of God in the New Testament by exploring the relationship of the Holy Spirit to Christ Jesus. In Week 1 of this study, we turn to Isaiah 11, where we see that Jesus is the full and perfect embodiment of the Spirit of God and discover what we can expect as a result.

As we survey the work of the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament, we see the first 'filling' of the Spirit of God in a man named Bezalel, which also reveals one of the first spiritual gifts.
